Leidenschaftlich ( ライデンシャフトリヒ , Raidenshafutorihi ) is a country located in the southern-middle part of continental Telesis. It is one of the locations in the Violet Evergarden series , and the location where Violet fought in the war.

Leidenschaftlich's location in the world map.

The continent of Telsis has a wide elliptical shape in the east and west, and situated in the southern middle part of it is Leidenschaftlich. As the climate is hot and humid during summer and warm and rainy during winter, the productivity of its agriculture is high, especially through the utilization of the abundant water resources on multiple croppings, mainly of rice. The ocean current is strong in the south coast of the continent, but the vicinities of Leidenschaftlich are composed of a vast bay with several natural good harbors, which is the trade center of the south of the continent. [1]

Since the old times, Leidenschaftlich had been invaded repeatedly by neighbor countries that aimed for its ports and natural resources, sometimes suffering many defeats, and sometimes having even its capital invaded by enemy armies. Because many countries would not survive economically if trading ever stopped in Leidenschaftlich, there were just as many threats from foreign enemies targeting the motherland. If one studied the country’s history, they would find it to be mostly recordings of battles against invaders. Due to those experiences, the capital city Leiden was surrounded by long and solid double walls, and the proximities of the border had a frontier with its own military capability as an immediate fighting force, striving to defend the country. Yet, as the regional aristocracy of the border arms and surrounding rural aristocrats became the core of the national defense, domestic voices became stronger, and in contrast, the central royalty weakened. As result, the current regime was a parliamentary cabinet system centered in the House of Lords, and the royal family, too, was converted into an aristocracy. However, as the previous Great War had been a large-scale one involving the whole continent, it was difficult for the aristocratic army of until that time to respond, so as national forces that had been assembled in a hurry became active, the right for the masses to participate in the government went under consideration. At the same time, women’s social advancement arose rapidly. After the war, one of the careers that women who had gone through social advancement looked up to was of Auto Memories Doll . Europe > Balkans > Montenegro

From Wikivoyage

Montenegro ( Montenegrin : Crna Gora , Црна Гора ) is a country in the Balkans , on the Adriatic Sea, home to 680,000 people.

Montenegro has been a political entity since at least the 11th century. For most of the 20th century, Montenegro was part of Yugoslavia, which started to break apart in the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s. Montenegro remained united with Serbia until it became independent in 2006. It is one of Europe's youngest states. Infrastructure greatly improved since independence as Montenegro became home to numerous five-star hotels, glamorous new settlements and investments in roads, energy, water and sanitary pipelines.

Montenegro is divided into 21 municipalities, which can be grouped into five regions:

Regions of Montenegro
The monastery at Mount Ostrog
The flag of Montenegro in Kotor

Montenegro was founded as a state under its present name in 15th century, continuing the tradition of the Slavic state of Duklja. It was able to maintain its independence during the reign of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans, as its independence was recognized at the Congress of Berlin in 1878. In World War I, it fought on the side of the Allied powers. It was absorbed into the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, which became the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1929. Montenegro was part of various incarnations of Yugoslavia, until it regained its independence from the federation of Serbia-Montenegro after the May 2006 referendum. Montenegro was the only republic of the former Yugoslavia that supported Serbia during the wars of the 1990s.

Montenegro's lower areas along the coast enjoy a Mediterranean climate, having dry summers and mild, rainy winters. Central and northern regions have Continental climate, where temperature varies greatly with elevation. Podgorica, lying near sea level in the valley of the central region, is noted for having the warmest July temperatures in Montenegro, averaging 35-40°C (95-104°F).

Cetinje, in the Karst at an elevation of 670m (2,200 ft), has a temperature 5°C (10°F) lower. January temperatures range from 8°C (46°F) from Bar on the southern coast to -3°C (27°F) in the northern region.

Montenegro's mountainous regions receive some of the highest amounts of rainfall in Europe. In the northern mountains, snow is present throughout the spring.

The terrain of Montenegro ranges from high mountains through a segment of the Karst of the western Balkan Peninsula, to a narrow coastal plain that is only one to four miles wide. The coastal plain disappears completely in the north, where Mount Lovcen and other ranges plunge abruptly into the inlet of the Gulf of Kotor.
